High-BN Marine Cylinder Lubricant Additive
Ultimate Acid Neutralization for Slow-Speed Crosshead Engines on Heavy Fuel Oil
The formulated cylinder oil meets the stringent requirements of using fuel with high sulfur content, and is particularly effective in protecting marine cylinders. Our marine engine oil additives provide excellent acid neutralization, clean dispersibility, anti-oxidation and anti-wear, anti-water separation, anti-corrosion, anti-foaming and oxidation stability.
Premium Marine Engine Oil Additives for Heavy Fuel Oil Engines
Product Introduction
This ultra-high base number marine engine oil additives solution is engineered specifically for slow-speed crosshead engines burning high-sulfur residual fuels. Its calcium carbonate core and advanced dispersant system combat sulfuric acid corrosion, cylinder liner polishing, and scavenge port deposits in extreme marine operating conditions.
Performance Advantages
- Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) Acid Neutralization
Neutralizes 98% of sulfuric acid from ≤4.5% S fuels (ASTM D4739: TBN retention ≥80% after 400h).
- Anti-Polishing Technology
Patented film control reduces cylinder liner wear by 60% (MAN ES K90MC test protocol).
- Cold Corrosion Defense
Thermal-activated additives prevent condensation corrosion below 100°C (50% lower wear vs. BN 70 oils).
- Scavenge Port Protection
Dispersant polymers reduce sludge deposits by 65% in Wärtsilä RT-flex96C engines.
- Valve Seat Safeguard
Forms protective tribofilm on exhaust valves, reducing recession by 45% in EGR systems.
Application
Target Industries:
Deep-sea cargo vessels (VLCCs, Capesize bulk carriers, LNG tankers)
Ultra-large container ships (20,000+ TEU capacity)
Ocean-going cruise liners
Heavy-lift transport carriers
Polar-class icebreakers
Core Applications:
Crosshead engine cylinder oils (BN 70–100 for HFO ≤3.5% sulfur)
Feed-rate optimized lubricants (SAE 50 viscosity grade)
