Fumarate Pour Point Depressant T818C

Fumaric Acid And Vinyl Acetate Pour Point Depressant Additives,Paraffin Oil Pour Point Depressant

Ultra-Concentrated Cold Flow Improver for Extreme Environments

It is an orange yellow transparent thick liquid. It shows exceptional pour point depression ability, increasing viscosity ability and improving the viscosity index. These advanced pour point depressant additives can substitute for traditional solutions in the most demanding applications.

Product Introduction

T818C is a hyper-concentrated fumarate copolymer pour point depressant engineered to deliver unparalleled low-temperature performance in synthetic, bio-based, and high-paraffinic lubricants. Leveraging advanced molecular design with crystalline modifiers, it suppresses wax formation down to -70°C and enables reliable cold-start operations in arctic/mining applications. Exceeds MIL-PRF-32073 Grade 7 requirements for military/aviation fluids.

Achieves -70°C pour point (ASTM D5949) and MRV TP-1 ≤30,000 cP @ -65°C (ASTM D4684).

Controls wax crystallization in ≥35% paraffinic base oils (DSC WAT reduction ≥25°C).

50% lower dosage vs. conventional PPDs (effective at 0.05–0.3%).

100% biodegradable (OECD 301F) with zero aquatic toxicity (LC50 >100 mg/L).

SSI ≤5 (ASTM D6278); maintains viscosity in 50,000 psi hydraulic systems.

Application

T818C pour point depressant additives are used primarily for various industrial oils and engine oils requiring extreme low-temperature performance:

Arctic Hydraulic Fluids:
ISO VG 22/32 oils for polar mining equipment (-65°C operability).

Spacecraft Lubricants:
Low-vapor pressure fluids for lunar/Martian missions (ESA ECSS-Q-70-71).

Bio-Jet Engine Oils:
SAF-compatible turbine oils (ASTM D7566 Annex A6).

Deep-Sea Drilling Fluids:
Subzero thermal transfer fluids (API 13A §9 compliance).

EV Battery Coolants:
Dielectric thermal management fluids (-60°C pumpability).

Recommended Dosage

0.1–1.0% (adjust per base oil composition).
