This Water-Soluble High Molecular Weight Polyether Viscosity Modifying Agent leverages advanced solution polymerization technology to deliver unparalleled rheological control in aqueous systems. Engineered with precisely tuned molecular weight (Mn=800,000-1,000,000), it provides exceptional shear stability and environment-responsive viscosity adjustment while maintaining biocompatibility for sensitive applications.

This innovative viscosity modifying agent exhibits high molecular weight and viscosity, along with excellent water solubility, biodegradability, anti-shear, anti-extrusion, and wetting properties. Application

  1. Quenching Agent Application

    When prepared as a 1% to 30% aqueous solution, it can be widely used for quenching aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, steel, etc. Particularly for quenching parts with uneven thickness or thin walls, it prevents deformation and cracking. This viscosity modifying agent offers strong cooling capacity and achieves optimal quenching results.

    The influence of high molecular weight polyether on cooling rate:

    • Polyether has a high degree of polymerization and large viscosity value. At the same concentration, it has strong cooling capacity and is suitable as a quenching medium
    • The temperature of the polyether aqueous solution also affects the cooling rate. When the temperature rises, the cooling rate decreases. It is recommended to control the solution temperature between 45±2℃
