High Viscosity Polymethacrylate VII

High Viscosity Polymethacrylate VII Viscosity Modifiers

Ultimate Shear Stability for Extended Drain & High-Temperature Applications

Our advanced viscosity modifiers are highly efficient, light-colored pour point depressants with excellent pour point depressing effect and low temperature performance. These viscosity modifiers also improve viscosity index and provide a significant viscosity-increasing effect.

Product Introduction

This High Viscosity Polymethacrylate (PMA) delivers unprecedented shear stability through optimized molecular architecture. Engineered with ultra-high MW (350,000 Da) and controlled branching, it maintains critical viscosity protection in >1,000,000 km drain intervals while resisting thermal degradation at 180°C+ operating temperatures.

These viscosity modifiers can be used to prepare various oil products such as aviation hydraulic oil, hydraulic transmission oil, gear oil, low pour point hydraulic oil and multi-grade internal combustion engine oil. They work best in medium-quality lubricating oil (150SN-500SN) but also have a pour point depressing effect in lighter or heavier lubricating oils.

Key Features

<2% permanent viscosity loss after 100h KRL test (CEC L-45-A-99).

Maintains VI >180 after 500h @ 150°C (ASTM D2270 modified).

Limits viscosity increase to <15% at 8% soot loading (ASTM D7422).

Enables -50°C cold cranking in 10W-XX oils (ASTM D5293).

95% cleaner turbochargers vs. OCPs (ASTM D6335).
