Aminothioesters Extreme Pressure Lubrication Ep Additives In Grease
Ultra-Stable EP Protection for Gear Oils & Grease Under Extreme Shock Loads
This premium ep additives in grease and extreme pressure additives in gear oils is a brown-red transparent liquid, a multi-effect additive with outstanding anti-wear extreme pressure performance and good anti-oxidation effect. It offers excellent compatibility with other additives and can be used in turbine oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, internal combustion engine oil, and grease applications to enhance anti-oxidation and anti-wear properties.
Product Introduction
This Aminothioesters EP Additive delivers revolutionary extreme pressure protection through thermally stable N-S-O chemistry. Engineered for >200°C applications, its molecular design forms self-regenerating tribofilms that prevent welding under impact loads exceeding 6GPa. As premium extreme pressure additives in gear oils and ep additives in grease, it resists water washout in the harshest environments.
- Impact Load Armor™
Sustains 100,000 psi (690 MPa) shock loads without welding (ASTM D2596 modified).
- Thermal Stability
Maintains EP properties at 220°C (Four-Ball Test @ 220°C).
- Water Resistance
<3% washout after 10h seawater immersion (ASTM D1264).
- Micro-Pitting Prevention
90% reduction in FAG FE8 micropitting tests.
- Corrosion Barrier
1,000h salt spray protection (ASTM B117).

Why Choose This Extreme Pressure Additive?
“In tunnel boring machines operating at 250 bar cutterhead pressure, Aminothioesters-enabled greases achieved 10,000-hour bearing life with zero welding failures despite 6GPa impact loads and 95% humidity environments. As ep additives in grease, they outperformed all alternatives.”
– Heavy Equipment Engineering, 2025 Case Study
Third-party validated: Reduces micropitting by 92% in wind turbine main bearings at 5MW load (DNV GL FVA 54/7 validation). Our extreme pressure additives in gear oils show similar performance improvements.
Tribological Breakthrough:
Forms nanostructured Fe₃N/FeS tribofilms with 25GPa hardness – 40% harder than traditional EP additives (nanoindentation ISO 14577-1).
Unique Performance Metric:
Maintains EP protection after 1,000h at 200°C – outperforming conventional additives by 5x (modified ASTM D2596 thermal endurance test). This makes it ideal as ep additives in grease and extreme pressure additives in gear oils for high-temperature applications.
