CI-4/CH-4/CF-4/CD/SF/SG/SJ/SL Engine Additive For Oil Diesel Fuel Lubricant Additive T3161L
Advanced protection for gasoline and diesel engines
T3161L has been developed to formulate high quality automotive engine oils and multigrade oils . The following performance levels can be achieved with oils formulated with T3161L.
Product Introduction
T3161L is an advanced lubricant additive package engineered for formulating CI-4/CH-4/CF-4/CD/SF/SG/SJ/SL grade diesel engine oils. It combines synergistic detergent, dispersant, and anti-wear technologies to address severe soot contamination, high-temperature deposits, and acid corrosion in modern heavy-duty engines. Ideal for extended-drain intervals and low-emission systems, it ensures optimal engine protection under extreme loads and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) conditions.
Key Features
- Superior Soot Handling & Viscosity Control
Utilizes polyisobutylene succinimide-aromatic amine dispersant technology to inhibit soot agglomeration, maintaining 100°C kinematic viscosity stability even at >3.8% soot levels (critical for CH-4/CI-4 compliance).
Limits viscosity increase to ≤2.32 mm²/s at 3.8% soot—far below CH-4 specifications (≤11.5 mm²/s).
- Enhanced Thermal & Oxidative Stability
Multi-component antioxidant system (including ZDDP and auxiliary agents) minimizes oil degradation and sludge formation under sustained high temperatures (≤300°C).
Reduces piston deposits by >40% compared to conventional additives, ensuring engine cleanliness.
- Advanced Anti-Wear & Corrosion Resistance
Optimized ZDDP (Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate) and calcium sulfonate detergent blend prevents bearing lead corrosion, scuffing, and micropitting.
Protects critical components (turbochargers, injectors) in high-sulfur fuel environments.
- EGR & Low-Emission Compatibility
Neutralizes acidic byproducts from EGR systems and biofuels, extending oil life and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) durability.
